We are delighted to announce that Marisol Fernández-Alfonso became our new President at our Annual Meeting on 10th October 2020.

Her goals are to strengthen key aspects of ECCR such as attraction of scientific excellence, promotion of education and mentorship, and consolidation of a strong and large Young Investigator / Early Career Researcher Network.
She will be also involved in exploring new ways in which ECCR can meet the needs of society in such challenging times.

The arrival of an incoming President always means the departure of the current President. Rhian Touyz has given new life to the ECCR and offered constant and unwavering support during the last two years. We would like to express our gratitude to Rhian Touyz for her positive, enthusiastic and encouraging Presidency.

Thank you, Rhian!
